Welcome to the beautiful city of Port Aransas (referred to by the locals as Port “A”), Texas, the home of B&B Offshore and Bay Charters, your Texas connection to Private, First-Class Offshore and Bay Fishing adventures. We hope that you will take time to visit each page so that when you decide to plan your next Saltwater Fishing trip, you’ll give us a call! If you ever have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at 800-460-1843.

Port Aransas, the Saltwater Fishing Capital of Texas, is located at the northern tip of Mustang Island, one of the barrier islands along the Central Texas Coast across from Corpus Christi Bay. Mustang Island, which is named for the wild horses that once roamed the island, is an 18-mile stretch of clean, sandy beach which opens up to the sprawling
Gulf of Mexico, a unique body of water and certainly one of the richest in deep sea fishing opportunities in the entire world.

What makes the Gulf of Mexico so rich and abundant in game fish? The warm Caribbean Current sweeping northward into the Gulf, and the Loop Current which generates many migratory loops throughout the Gulf, heavily influence the ups and downs of angling. Nevertheless, the importance of these currents to the Gulf’s rich resources is obvious. The warm, southern flow mixes with the cooler waters of the Gulf to stir up a rich mix of plankton – the basis of the food chain for all sport fish.

B&B Outfitters and Offshore and Bay Charters offers some of the best Offshore and Bay fishing you’ll ever experience. We offer year round charters, full days as well as ½, both offshore and inshore, however during the
peak season (Spring Break; Memorial Day through Labor Day) 4 & 5 hour charters available Tues-Thurs only, otherwise they are available year round. The ½ day offshore charters are only available Mondays (except for holidays) through Thursday. We offer non-specific and species-specific fishing. Tell us what you want to catch and we’ll do our very best to hook you up!

We require a $200 deposit for offshore charters and a $100 deposit for the inshore (bay) charters. In the event of bad weather we will attempt to reschedule your trip – deposits are transferable for up to one year. If this is not possible your deposit may be refunded. Any cancellations must be made prior to 14 days from departure date or the deposit in non-refundable.
