October 24 , 2004 (Tom Matzel, Ralph Matzel, Robert Downey, Danny Guenther, Tommy Wood, Virginia Durand

After a week of high winds and rough seas, this Houston-area group proved that persistence pays off!  With a 88# Sandbar Shark, a 28# Amberjack, a 22# Snapper, Barracuda, and Dog Snapper, they reeled in a very impressive 190# catch-of-the-day!

October 3, 2004 (Heath, Dana, Mike, Ray, Bones and David)

Heath, who is also a big time hunter with B&B Outfitters, brought this lively group of guys for a day of fun fishing.  The seas, being a bit on the choppy side, left several not feeling so well, but all-in-all it turned out to be a good day for catching!  Snapper, barracuda, king and shark were the catch for this group.  B&B Offshore Charters says, “THANKS GUYS!”  Hope to see you again!

October 2, 2004 (Vicki, Rachel, Alex, Rudy, Randall and Craig)

A company outing turned into a fishfest.  Vicki, with Charles Schwab, brought in some great people when they went fishing with B&B Offshore Charters.  First-Mate Bucky and Capt. Leon had a busy day with this group!  It was rough going out and coming in, but 30 miles offshore was perfect.  They had this impressive catch of snapper, shark, and barracuda.  We hope they come back and hang up another great rack of fish.  Thanks guys (and gals!)

September 29, 2004 (Bucky, Leesa, Billy, Mickey, Seth, Mike and Steve)

All Billy Bonner wanted for his birthday was an Offshore Trip with family and friends and that’s just what he got!  What a day!  A 63 pound AJ, 7 Blackfin Tuna, 7 Dolphin and 4 Sharks it was a busy day!  The seas were like glass with a light wind – absolutely perfect!

September 24, 2004 (BUD-WEIS-ER)

Capt. Mike and First-Mate Bucky braved the high seas (and a lot more), when they went fishing with this really terrific group of guys from Budweiser!   They caught blackfin tuna, shark, kingfish, and dolphin.  What they lost outnumbered what they brought in, but what a super catch.  We know they’ll be back and hopefully so will another large rack of fish!  Thanks guys for a outstanding trip.

September 18, 2004 (David Robisheaux and friends)

David and friends, down from San Antonio, caught these kings, blackfin tuna and shark in seas that had recently experienced Hurricane Ivan.  The weather was great, but the fishing was a little harder.  Hopefully they’ll come back and see us again!

August 28, 2004 (Debbie’s x 2)

We had the 2 Debbie from Gambler Specialties do a “girl’s day out” trip – first time for both and wow!  Sharks, kings, snapper and a ling – that showed us that girls can have a “reely” great time, too!  They’ll do it again real soon!  Thanks ladies!

August 27, 2004 (Don Wagner group)

Lots of snapper, including this huge one and king fish were the catch of the day at the docks when Don Wagner and friends fishing with us!!!! The rack of snapper represents various species – lane, red, just to name a few. Don caught the “big one”.  What a great day for all!

August 15, 2004 (The Wild Bunch)

Now, this was a wild, wacky and fun bunch that fished with B&B Offshore Charters!  Sam, Alan, Wayne and their crazy friends spent 12 hours wrangling fish!  Sam even wore his boots and jeans while he braved the high seas! They lost more than they caught, but they had fun!  Lot of king, dolphin and tuna made for a great day of fishing!  Hopefully, when they come back, they’ll have an even better catch!!!!

August 6, 2004 (The Steeles)

This was the second go-round for Robert, the first for his son.  What a great day of fishing!  With ‘Cudas, King and Snapper, this was a super catch for 2 guys. We certainly hope to see them again.

August 3, 2004 (Bob, Sherry and Tanner Pruiett)

This was another great family that we’ve had the opportunity to fish with this year. Fishing both inshore and offshore, these are just some of the great fish that they caught.  Limiting out on king, Tanner certainly should be proud of the one he’s holding!  We hope that you three come fish with us again!

July 30, 2004 (Don, Denise, and Megan Lipps)

This great family from North Texas spent a week in Port A fishing and……………fishing!  Not only did they go Offshore, but they went Inshore fishing, too.  We just hope that they left fish in the ocean! What an impressive rack of kings, snappers, dolphins……..and look at Megan!  She caught the biggest king of all!  Thank you for a great trip!

July 26, 2004 (Wayne and Robert Womack)

Robert and Wayne decided that they would do an afternoon ½ day trip, with Capt. Leon and First-Mate Bucky, for their first offshore adventure! In fact, they said it was their first fishing trip ever! They caught these four great kings in twenty minutes.  They were thrilled!!!!!  With the seas being rough, due to high winds and nearby storms, they decided to call it quits after they caught these fish.  But they vow to come back!  We look forward to it.

July 25, 2004 (Harold, Jimmy, Scotty and Jordon Scott, and Sandra Filmer)

This lively group of fishers had a super day and a terrific catch! They wanted king and that’s what they got. They limited out making their day with Capt. Leon and First-Mate Bucky a big success.

July 24, 2004 (Randy, Austin, and Harrison Gescheidle and John Garner)

The guys from San Antonio had a great catch. Lot of king, dolphin, chicken dolphin, barracuda, snapper, and a flounder at 100 ft!!!!!!  What a super group of fishermen.  We certainly hope to see them again.  Capt. Mark and First-Mate Bucky had a great time saying, “Fish on!!!!” Thanks guys!  Come back and see us again!

July 23, 2004 (The Cooleys)

The Cooleys had a great time while fishing with Capt. Leon and First-Mate Bucky.  The boys caught a lot of kings and a very nice ling!  The seas were calm and the temperatures, like the fishing, was hot!  Thanks for a good trip!

July 11, 2004 – (John, Jay and Cole)

This threesome of fishermen traveled from different parts of Texas to fish with Capt. Leon and First-Mate Bucky.  John, using a great rod and reel he received for his 80th birthday caught a honey of a king fish!  Limiting out in just under 2 hours, these true fishermen vow to come back and work their magic one more time!

July 3, 2004 – (Todd Bausch, Ruby Bausch, and Samuel Noelke)

This trio made their second trip to Port A after their first one was cancelled due to in climate weather, but it certainly paid off!  Ruby caught a beauty of a king fish!  What a great way to spend the 4th of July holiday!  Thanks for a great time!

July 2, 2004 – (Bucky Bonner)

S.E.A. (Saltwater-fisheries Enhancement Association) has an annual fishing tournament in Port Aransas every year.  This year’s winner, in the Dorado category, was Bucky Bonner, owner of B&B Outfitters and B&B Offshore Charters!  Bucky was fishing aboard the SeaHawk with his good friend, Captain Leon. His 1st place winning Dolphin was 53 inches long and weighed 29.2 pounds!  Way to go, Bucky!

June 26, 2004 – Wesley Crow Electric, Lampasas, Texas
(Snake, Gonzo, Joe, Bob, Jeff and Grant)

This wild bunch from Lampasas, who also hog hunt with B&B Outfitters, spent a wild and fun day getting whipped by fish!  This catch of kings and barracuda was what didn’t escape – the guys lost 11 kings, a huge ling and a super-sized dorado.  But, they’ll be back!  We’ll get ‘em hooked up again but will they hang on?

June 19, 2004  (Brian Entrekin, Mike Burras, Glenn Jenkins, Luke Gilliam

This fishing foursome had a great trip with Capt. Mark and Deckhand Bucky. They didn’t catch a whole lot, but they had fun just “boating around the Gulf”.

The seas weren’t the best, but hopefully we’ll try it again later this summer!

June 05, 2004  (Bob Steele, Jeremy Doyle and Mike Chapa)

San Angelo is where this trio of fishermen traveled from to experience their first private offshore trips and what a time they had! With a light wind and relatively smooth seas, they fought with huge barracuda and lings before landing snapper, strawberry grouper, a barracuda, and blue fish.  They said they can’t wait to come fish with us again!

May 28, 2004
(Charley Armstrong, Graham Winegeart, James Fullerton, Robert Sheridan and Jeff Beckham)

Coming from different parts of Texas, this group of fishers braved rough seas and high winds, but had a great fishing experience!  They landed shark, snapper, ling, barracuda and a king!

September 27 , 2003 (Zach Sisk – Catch-A-Dream)

Zach Sisk, of Katy, Texas, along with his parents, Wally and Leslee, were our very special guests from Catch-A-Dream, a program designed for terminally ill children. While the weather was not conducive for a great fishing trip, the experience itself was worth more than anything.  We had the opportunity to meet a wonderful family, both loving and giving, and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Martin Brunson from Mississippi State University who helps to head up the program.

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

August 27, 2003 (LONE STAR TANKERS)

David Kowalik and clients traveled from as far away as Norway to fish with us.  Using two boats, and thereby declaring a contest to determine who was better, it was a fun time for all.  They hooked up ling, barracuda, kingfish and snapper.

August 20th, 2003 (Jerry David, Keith Morrison,
Frank "Paco" O'Neill, Shawn Perronne)

A big Port A thanks goes out to Jerry David, Keith Morrison, Frank "Paco" O'Neill and Shawn Perronne. They landed kingfish, shark, snapper, ling and tuna on a great day of fishing in the gulf.

This was day one of a 2 day offshore excursion.
