October 8, 2005 (Sharise Beck, Shirley DeBorde, Fred and Melba Drosche)

These great anglers got with the program on some pretty rough seas and reeled in this great catch of Snapper and Shark.  Way to go!!  Come back and we'll do it again!

September 3, 2005 (Dave, Dalton and Lane Ezell; Ron and Olivia Jackson)

What a great bunch of fishers!  Limiting out on Kingfish, some Snapper and Dolphin, these folks proved to be awesome! Oh, and they caught and release a Marlin!  Not bad!  The kids, who were on their first offshore experience, really made it difficult for the grownups to keep up!  Why to go, guys!  These guys were a lot of fun, and are planning their next trip already!  To quote Ron, "Don't worry; we'll be white black!!!!"  We can't wait!!!!

August 6, 2005 (Kori, Kutter, and Lloyd Kortis, Billy and Mickey Bonner)

Our beautiful daughter celebrated her birthday with us. Our son-in-law, Lloyd, our grandson, Kutter, along with our sons Billy and Mickey) had an awesome time reeling in these great kingfish! The seas were so flat and clear (you could see more than 60 feet down into the water) and a stunning shade of blue. They limited out on their kings in 30 minutes! They
caught a nice wahoo, lost a turkey dolphin, had strawberry grouper (but lost them) and caught and release some others. It was so fun! Hope you had a happy birthday, honey!

August 8, 2005 (The Ramos - Remie, Ramiro, Little Remie and Ramsey)

These guys came all the way from Pecos County Texas to fish! They bay fished on Saturday and Sunday and then ended up their visit catching these great kingfish and snapper! They'll be the envy of the desert when they have a fish fry at home! Thanks guys and we'll see you when the deer are "biting!"

August 7, 2005 (Marco, and Marco III Uribe, Glenn and Glenn Jr. Gross,
Adam Robeau, Robert Hudson)

Kingfish and Snapper made up these anglers catch for day.  They wanted meat fish and they got some great ones!  Congratulations and thank you to a wonderful group of men.  Take care and we hope to see you again!

August 5, 2005 (Todd Perrine, Alan Wong, Tim White,
Matt Singleton, Mike Sewell, Andrea Deese)

What a bunch of great people these Texans and Okies were! King, Ling, Runner, Snapper and Trigger made for this more than 160#s of fish on a truly great sea day. It was certainly hot, but the seas were like glass - nice and flat! Congratulations on a great trip and a great catch!

August 4, 2005 (Ricky, Tammy, Heather and Micki Smart and Zack Mitchmore)

These were certainly some "smart" anglers! They had Kingfish, Dorado, Snapper and Runner in their haul. And they were also very nice people. We hope to see them again! Thanks for a fun trip!

July 31, 2005 (Karen, Kendall and Kenneth)

This trio from central Texas (2 of them repeaters!) caught this great limit of Kingfish on a near picture day offshore. The seas were flat, the sky was blue and the fishing became "catching"! Great job! Can't wait to see y'all again!

July 30, 2005 (Mike and Michelle Johnson, Keith Samples,
Mike Bevins, and Sharon Hicks)

They say that variety is the spice of life. And if the same can be said for a great day of fishing, then these anglers proved that theory! Kingfish, Wahoo, Dolphin and Runners made up this great catch! You guys (and gals) did good! Thank you!

July 29, 2005 (Brent Phelps, Barry Gross, Mike Ellis, David Perry
and Ben Rogers)

These locals caught their limit of Kingfish and also had Runners and a Sand Tilefish (Sand Eel). It was a very good day!! Thank you, gentlemen!

July 26, 2005 (Tammy Calhoun, Haley, Ashton and David Bray)

These young ladies, and dad, had a great catch! With 70# of tuna and 70# of Kingfish and Runners, they had a good day! The seas were a little bumpy, some were a little sick, but they all "cowboy upped" and had a great time. We hope to see you again!

July 25, 2005 (James, Linda, Katie, Jacob and Jared Poerner, and Scott Richter)

What a difference a day can make on the ocean!  This awesome catch of 183 pounds, including the enormous 44# king reeled in by James (and not including the very large shark James lost!) made for the docks catch of the day.  Congratulations!!  They had so much fun they are bay fishing next!  Can't wait to see what they bring in!!!! Oh, and if you want some great Taxidermy work done, call James at Alamo Wildlife Taxidermy in Comfort.  You can reach James and Linda at 830-995-5658.  They do all of our work including my big Hammerhead!  Tell them Bucky and Leesa sent you!!!

July 24, 2005 (The Langleys - Dale, Larry, Damon, James and Blake)

This catch of Kings (including the 1/2 bitten off by something large) and Runners is what this group of anglers reeled in.  The fishing was slow for everyone - current and water color affected it for all the boats.  But they had fun!  Hopefully we can try again!

July 23, 2005 (Garrett, and Greg Goettee, Hunter, York and Blake
Patterson)

Garrett caught this huge 44# Kingfish which only added to an already great day!  Good weather, good seas and great fishermen made for a great combination!  Thanks guys!  Let's do it again!

July 22, 2005 (Ed, Gary and Jason Allen, Greyson, Nick and Sam Claiborn)

Kingfish and 'Cuda - that was the catch for this group of anglers.  The seas were calm (after the storm), but pretty murky.  Nonetheless, they had a great time, well except for the fish that got his tail bit off by a really big fish!!!!  We certainly hope that you guys come back again!

July 18, 2005 (Lewis Borgfeld, Frank, Lucinda (with biggest kingfish), Ashley and Shelly Friddle)

These anglers went out the day before Hurricane Emily really made the seas rough!  They had a great time, even though the seas were starting to get sloppy.  We hope that they'll come back soon!  Great job!

July 17, 2005 (The Boys in Blue!!!! Bryan,Dominic, Tony and Ramey)

Some of the Coastal Bend's finest spent a good day offshore and this catch shows they know how to fish!  They had kings and a very good Blacktip Shark to show for their efforts.  They must have been pleased!  The crew didn't get hauled off in 'cuffs!!!  Thanks gentlemen.  We had fun fishing with you and want you to know that we appreciate all that you do for us! Support your local law enforcement officers - they keep us good guys safe!!!!

July 16, 2005 (Dave, Grace, Jaime, Lali and Jimmy)

These guys got off to a late morning start, but still had a very nice caught.  Again the seas were pretty choppy, but all-in-all they got 'er done!  Hope to see y'all again soon!  Oh, and Grace wanted everyone to know that SHE got the biggest kingfish!!! Great job on the hammerhead, too!

July 14, 2005 (Shann "Birthday Girl" Traylor, Julie, Ray and Cory Brooks)

Happy Birthday, Shann!  They had a very good day with 6 Kings, one of which weighed nearly 50 pounds (wow!), and a Rainbow Runner.  The seas were a little sloppy, but it was hot and the combo made for another good day!  Thank you!

70th Annual Deep Sea Round-Up
(Bucky Bonner, Mike Astin, Josh Davis, Steve Gamble)

What a great 2-day tournament this was for the owners and operators of the Seahawk!  Not only did they catch Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna and Dolphin, they caught a released a Blue Marlin (reeled in by Josh who placed second in the blue category) and a White Marlin (reeled in by Bucky who placed third) which they estimated to have been large enough to have become the new state record, but no one wanted to take him in - much too beautiful to let die.  In addition, they had on but lost another billfish and a rather large unidentified fish.   The boat won 2nd overall in the Marlin Division.  In the Billfish category, it goes by catch and release time and the number of billfish caught and released.  They are already planning their strategy for next year's tournament.  Congratulations to this great group of anglers!!!!!

June 29, 2005 (Kevin Scott, John Stuecheli, Jason and Kevin Tobin, Dr. Ed Garcia, and Dr. Dave Vorack)

Another great day of fishing offshore was in store for this group of men.  They hauled in 12 Kingfish (lost 8 more), 3 Wahoo and 3 Dolphin.  Great job men!  Come back soon and we'll do it again!

June 28, 2005 (Mickey Bonner)

Although the picture is not very clear (taken with a camera phone), you can still see this awesome 7 foot Tarpon that Mickey reeled in. He had gone  fun fishing for Kingfish with Jim Adams just offshore from the jetties, when this beautiful fish (for which Port Aransas was originally named after because of the quantity of these fish), decided he liked what kingfish like.  After one hour and 50 minutes Mickey landed him in just long enough to pull a couple of scales and measure him. Unfortunately, they couldn't weigh it, but they estimated it to weigh somewhere between 150 and 160. The tarpon was then released, unharmed, back into the ocean. The scales are typically what people keep and preserve (there is a scale signed by President Roosevelt on display at the Tarpon Inn in Port A).

June 28, 2005 (Christian Keith, Blake Rudd, Addison Oldham,
Austin Oldham (the dad))

These young men, self professed outdoorsmen, certainly proved that they were.  The three of them reeled in this shark, kingfish, a triggerfish, a ling and a snapper.  They only lost one king and then had an unknown (and apparently rather large) fish take their rig without slowing down!  Superb anglers!!! We certainly look forward to fishing with them again!

June 26, 2005 (The Cooleys)

Back for another great day of fishing, Mike and Kyle, proved that for 1-1/2 fishermen (you know who the 1/2 was!) it was a great day indeed!  Snapper, King and Barracuda (80 pounds worth) prove that great things happen in a small group!  Hope to see you guys again!  Thank you for fishing with us!

June 25, 2005 (Logan (the birthday boy!) and Johnnie Schroeder, Adam Johnson, and Paul, Aaron and Paul Jr. Shirocky)

Logan wanted to spend his birthday offshore fishing, and boy! did he do a good job.  Pictured with his shark, you can tell that it was a good day of fishing.  Thank you for choosing us to spend your birthday with!

June 24, 2005 (Josh and John Ward, Tom Vineyard, Derrick
and Meagan Bolt, Bill Knoebel)

Limiting out on Kingfish early allowed little 4 year old Josh plenty of time to reel in his very first shark!  What to go guys!  We love having children on the boat especially when they do such a great job!  Thank you!

June 21, 2005 (Darrel Rust, Doug Brown, Molly Craigo, Eddie Bowman)

What a great day of fishing for these Corpus and San Antone residents!  With Wahoo, Kingfish and Snapper it was a good day offshore!  Thank you!

June 18, 2005 (Mike, Vince, Vivian and Issac Gallegos)

3 kids and a daddy made for a great day of offshore.  The seas were pretty rough, but the kids were tough!  This catch proves it.  2 Kingfish, 5 Wahoo and 3 dolphin.  Not bad for a day's work!!!!  Thank you!

June 17, 2005 (Dickey Steele, Aaron Jenc, Kevin Sheridan)

These 3 guys had an awesome day fishing.  With very hot temps, big seas of 4-5 feet, with occasional sneakers of 6-7 feet, these brought in 140# of fish!  5 Wahoo, 8 Kingfish, and 3 Dolphin.  What a great group of anglers!  Thanks guys!

June 11, 2005 (BACHELOR PARTY!!!!! Ken Casey, Damon Withrow, John Carlson, Lance Lockett, Dave Betz, and the Mystery Man (Pled the 5th!!!!)

These guys had too much fun, too much sun, and a whole lotta fish!!!  168 pounds of KingFish, a Black Tip Shark, 1 huge Horse Eyed Jack, then released 3 more sharks and an African Pompano.  What a joy it was to have them on the boat.  Congratulations!!!

June 10, 2005 (Karen and Kendall, the Gatesville duo)

What great people these fishers were.  In not-so-good sea conditions, they were still able to bring in the good catch.  Lots of trigger fish, a king, snapper, a great dog snapper, and a few dolphin will give them some good memories and some great meals!  Take care guys and hope to see you soon!

June 7, 2005 (Margaret, Wade, Matt, Pam and Ricky Hunt)

In poor sea conditions (low pressure to the north and west, T.S. Arlene in the Caribbean) these new fishers managed to limit out on kingfish in an hour and a half!  Not bad for 6-8 foot waves!!!!  But with our superb vessel and our experienced crew everyone had a great, fun, and safe journey!  Good job!

June 6, 2005 (Mike and Reese Godwin)

These two men, who bay fished with us the day before, pulled in a shark, a ling, 1-1/2 kings (long story, bigger fish and that's the fishing story of the day), and some snapper.  We hope that had a great time on their two day adventure and hope that fish with us again!

June 2, 2005 (Leesa Bonner)

For 42 years I have dreamed of catching a hammerhead (saw one at the age of 3 in Galveston and decided it was the only fish I wanted to catch), so I finally got to realize my dream fish when I, along with husband Bucky, our youngest son Mickey, and Capt. Reese Greene went shark fishing.  It took me 20 minutes to land my 8' hammerhead!  What an awesome day! The seas were flat and the ocean was blue!  Dreams of great fish can come true in Port A!! Thanks guys! Oh, and we caught some snapper, a 40 pound ling, and released 2 more big hammerheads.  Not bad for 3 hours!!!!!

May 27, 2005 (Richard, Matt, Charlene, and Matthew McCauley)

These fishers from Southlake caught 186# in great seas.  There were dolphin, wahoo, ling, snapper and king. Young Matthew did great and certainly did his fair share of reeling in the big ones!  We enjoyed having you fish with us and hope to see you again soon!  Thanks!!

May 25, 2005 (Eric Schwenke, Ernest West, Stephen Bennett and Don Heath)

These oilfield/well workers from the Gulf of Mexico experienced some fine fishing when they went offshore with us. The weather was great and so was the fishing!  145# later they had dolphin, wahoo, king and shark! Thank you, gentlemen!  We appreciate fishermen like you!

Alpha Omega Jets - May 22, 2005

Darin Hart, Elmer Miller, Ron Lusher, David Rowell, Lenny Brown, John Hodge
caught this awesome bunch of fish - 95 (chicken) dolphin, a ling, 3 snapper and 14 king fish made for an incredible 360 pounds!!!!  Needless to say, they had the catch of the day! Perfect weather/sea conditions could not have made for a better day!  We certainly hope they'll book with us again!!!!

May 21, 2005 (Jimmy Springfield and friends)

This 145# catch was a good day for these Hill Country Anglers.  Chicken dolphin, wahoo, jack, king and tuna gave them a good, but fun workout!  Thank you for a great day!

May 14, 2005 (Ben, JD, James, Joe, Josh and Mitch)

201 Pounds of really great fish is what was waiting this group of fishermen. Sharks, Snapper, Triggerfish and Kingfish were caught on this first trip of B&B Offshore's fishing season. The temperature was great, the seas were calm and the results are in - these guys got bragging rights of the day!
